舒適性主要的指標(biāo)是透濕性能。為了增強(qiáng)防護(hù)效果，防護(hù)服面料通常經(jīng)過層壓或復(fù)膜處理，長期穿著不利于排汗排熱。對醫(yī)用防護(hù)服透濕性能的改善，可以提高醫(yī)護(hù)人員的服用體驗，減少長期工作帶來的悶熱感和身體不適。此外，皮膚刺激性也是GB標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中的舒適性指標(biāo)要求，防護(hù)服不能給服用人員帶來不適的皮膚刺激。

物理機(jī)械性能主要指醫(yī)用防護(hù)服材料的強(qiáng)力和耐用性能。避免由于外力被撕裂、刺破、損壞處為細(xì)菌和傳播提供通道，從而減弱防護(hù)效果。 GB標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中對于防護(hù)服材料的斷裂強(qiáng)力和斷裂伸長有明確的要求，歐盟標(biāo)準(zhǔn)EN14126:2003 (防傳防護(hù)服的性能要求和試驗方法)中則要求防護(hù)服材料具有一定的耐磨、抗撕裂、抗穿刺性能。
